Please note BSB's reduced opening hours in August. Registration: 10,00–17,00, Reading Room Music, Maps and Images: 09,00–12,30, East European, Oriental and Asian Reading Room: 09,00–12,30. The main reading room will be open as usual from Mon-Sun, 8,00-24,00.

neuMartin Luther's Bible

It has been almost 500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church. Until 2017, the time of reformation will therefore be brought to life online. For this purpose, a large number of historical documents and eyewitness reports will be made available to public. It starts with Martin Luther's Bible edition (a copy of the State Library Coburg from 1541/1551).
