Reproductions of Imperial Charters
The work 'Kaiserurkunden in Abbildungen' (reproductions of Imperial Charters), edited by Theodor von Sickel and Heinrich von Sybel and published with an accompanying volume in Berlin in 1891, is one of the standard works on diplomatics: On the basis of 364 individual charters in facsimile illustrations, the development of the charters from the Merovingians to the beginning of the early modern period, from Pippin the Younger to Maximilian I, is shown.
